Day 1: Discovering Terre-de-Haut

Head to Trois Rivières, the port where ferries depart for Les Saintes.

Don't forget to book your tickets in advance on the CTM DEHER website:

Arriving in Terre-de-Haut is a truly special, almost magical feeling. As the boat approaches, you can see the Bay of Les Saintes, ranked among the most beautiful in the world: a huge crescent of turquoise water surrounded by green hills and red-roofed houses.

It's a bit like stepping into a postcard setting, but one that is alive and authentic. You immediately feel a sense of letting go: you already know that your days will be punctuated by the sea, the light...

Let's set off to explore Fort Napoleon, perched on the heights.

It is home to an exotic garden and a fascinating museum that traces the history of the archipelago. Don't miss the exceptional panorama with a breathtaking view of the Baie des Saintes.

The afternoon is perfect for relaxation: swimming at Anse Mire, a quiet beach ideal for a first dip, then snorkeling exploration of the Lynndy shipwreck, where tropical fish and multicolored corals enliven the seabed.

👉Remember to bring your mask, snorkel, and water shoes.

It's time to settle into your magnificent villa.

Day 2 – Hiking and relaxation

In the morning, enjoy a beautiful hike: climb Le Chameau, which at 309 m is the highest point on the island. The climb (make sure you wear good shoes) is a bit challenging, but the panoramic view of the entire archipelago is well worth the effort.

After the effort, it's time for some relaxation: swimming and lounging on Pain de Sucre beach. Considered the most beautiful beach in Les Saintes, it is renowned for its turquoise waters and exceptional seabed. It is perfect for snorkeling, so don't forget your mask and snorkel to admire the schools of colorful fish.

At the end of the day, take a stroll through the village of Terre-de-Haut to soak up the gentle atmosphere of Les Saintes: narrow streets lined with colorful houses, small shops, and the unmissable tourment d'amour (a traditional coconut-based pastry). Finish off with a dinner of grilled fish or lobster overlooking the sea.

👉 Handy tip: rent a scooter or electric cart to easily get from one beach to another.

Day 3 – Excursion to Terre-de-Bas

In the morning, head to Terre-de-Bas, less crowded and wilder, but well worth the detour.

Check with CTM DEHER for boat schedules.

Once you arrive on the sister island, discover its wild views and green hiking trails between forests and peaceful villages, a true haven of peace.

Local crafts: Terre-de-Bas is known for its traditional basketry, an authentic souvenir to take home.

The return trip to Terre-de-Haut at the end of the day feels like traveling back in time to the heart of the authentic Caribbean.
